I've been tweaking settings lately with Melonloader, and I usually find the sleds tend to be way to grippy for the snow in the game.
If anyone wants to collaborate settings, find some quick starts, or just have fun, feel free to do it here.
"Matryx 146(Clone)": {
"drivetrainMaxSpeed1": 40.0,
"drivetrainMaxSpeed2": 45.0,
"forwardForce": 2200.0,
"frictionForce": 425.0,
"frictionForceFactor": 600.0,
"lugHeight": 0.18,
"pitchFactor": 5.5,

"powerEfficiency": 0.9,
"snowOutTrackWidth": 0.4,
"snowPushForceFactor": 32.0,
"snowPushForceNormalizedFactor": 320.0,
"snowSupportForceFactor": 1600.0,
"trackDiggingFactor": 200.0,
"trackMass": 30.0,
"waterForceFactor": 0.6
This gives the Matryx a little more short track feeling as well as making the snow more difficult to plow, thus making it feel more real. It will no longer climb any peak like a 165, and when speed drops the sled gets more wheelie-prone.

This gives you a little more packed snow, but still the useless basically-no-lug traction. Everyone knows it bogs even on a good day. This is closer to being the right kind of useless outside of a trail.
You can up the snowSupportForceFactor and/or snowPushForceFactor by a lot if you want to simulate more trail like conditions.
