ALL RACERS are required to read and become familiar with the
tournament rules and vehicle classes prior to the event. You can find the
event rules here. These rules are non-negotiable and are the results of hundreds of real world racers coming together on BeamMP to ensure fairness and fun.
NOTE: The server information is here under Server 5.
HOW IT WORKS:
ENTERING:
Anyone is free to enter, we ask that all entries are serious and you are actually wanting to participate. If you entered and find you cannot make it to the event please let us or an admin know so we can open your slot to other participants. Anyone that registered before that did not attend will not be expected to show up unless they confirm the they are attending within 12 hours of race start time. If you do not confirm in the Baja75series discord race chat by that time, your time slot will be given to another racer.
Choose your class wisely, you can watch a race before choosing to race. Once you choose your class, you cannot change it for a series. That is at minimal, 4 races.
JOINING:
All racers that have completed sign up using the google form and have PROPERLY requested a race number and submitted their BeamMP Username will receive the registered tag in the Baja75 Discord. That tag is required to attend races properly or you will be kicked from the race. This is to prevent trolls and spam. If you have issues connecting to the race server day of event, notify event staff.
Qualifying:
Some races have qualifying days. Some do not. Those that allow qualifying, you will have a set route setup and you can race along that route for the best time.
RACING:
All racers will spawn their vehicles and be prepared to stage. We will call your name to the stage and announce when it is your time to go. During the race, you are permitted to reset per the rules. Once you complete your race we will announce the official winner within 72 hours of the event's ending. If there are challenges or issues with results, these will be delayed.
SEASON & STANDINGS:
Each event (excluding NFP events) will provide some perks based on your position. Series winners can choose their race number and cannot lose that number for an entire series after, even if they do not race. Annual Winner is awarded any number of their choice with letter designation following their number.
All challenges to a race standing must be made within 48 hours of the race completed. This means 48 hours after the end of the race, a complaint must be submitted. This does not mean answered or recognized. It just has to be submitted. Challenges to a finishing result must have a written out statement on why to include any photos or videos of the situation. You may cite any streamers footage of that day if it exists, but you must provide publicly available links to it. There are no penalties for filing a challenge.
