The mod is an add on mod for the D-series vanilla truck. The custom configurations will be under the D-series and not it's own selection. You may need to enable the show custom configurations checkbox on your vehicle selection screen to see them. Hope this helps.

Once you are signed in and your account is verified you'll have a download button that is normally top right of the screen. Mine is top left on mobile.

The mods from 2fast don't need unpacked. They go into the mods folder that is in your my documents or app data location depending on how you installed beamNG.

Do you have the drag wheel and tire pack installed also?

Remove all mods but the hoonicorn, reboot your pc. Deep clean cache. Also where are you installing your mods?

Are you throwing the car into the corner like they do in real life?

No problem. Yeah installing mods into the game itself will work sometimes but normally will break the game and have other bad side affects.

You select the wheel pack at the top of the wheels list. Then both sizes. Then brand. Then model. Then you go into tire selection. There is more info on the repo post on how to select them.
